Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Concept, strategize, and storyboard YouTube Shorts in collaboration with the Director of Content Strategy and relevant stakeholders
  • Produce engaging YouTube Shorts featuring musicians, creators, and/or yourself as on-camera talent
  • Edit short-form video content and participate in creative reviews and feedback cycles
  • Manage the YouTube Shorts content calendar and production workflow
  • Coordinate with producers, creators, and studio teams to schedule shoots
  • Generate compelling copy and lightweight graphics optimized for YouTube Shorts
  • Collaborate with long-form production teams to identify and extract short-form opportunities
  • Partner with Social Media to determine cross-platform rollout strategies
  • Track, organize, and analyze performance data to continuously improve creative output

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Music, Production, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years playing, performing, or recording music
  • 3-5+ years of experience creating content (short-form storytelling formats)
  • Deep understanding of a wide range of musical instruments, recording equipment, and music technology platforms
  • Strong video editing skills and familiarity with short-form storytelling formats
  • Comfortable and compelling on camera
  • Ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously while hitting tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to shifting product priorities, sample availability, and talent schedules
  • Creative problem-solving skills when working with limited resources, tight turnarounds, or embargoed products
  • Relocation to Fort Wayne, IN is required

Preferred
