In this role, you’ll manage a team of web specialists, own technical quality and standards, and ensure our websites are fast, compliant, conversion-focused, and delivered on time. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining design excellence and operational efficiency as Olly Olly continues to grow and evolve from an agency into a product-led SaaS organization. If you’re a hands-on leader with strong WordPress expertise, a sharp eye for design, and a passion for building scalable processes, we’d love to meet you. 🚀 The Impact You’ll Have Manage, coach, and support web design and development specialists, ensuring consistent quality and on-time delivery Serve as the technical authority for WordPress website builds, maintenance, and troubleshooting Act as a subject matter expert on small business website best practices, including UX/UI, ADA compliance, accessibility, and site performance Provide hands-on WordPress expertise, including theme customization, plugin integrations, and third-party widgets Own and resolve escalated technical website issues, collaborating closely with account managers, developers, and clients Uphold and evolve UX/UI and design standards, maximizing the effectiveness of WordPress themes and internal design systems Support overflow website builds and critical launches when needed Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, tooling, and scalability across web production ✅ What We Need From You 4+ years of experience in web design or web development, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or management role Strong hands-on experience with WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, and integrations Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced production environment Deep understanding of UX/UI best practices, responsive design, and conversion-focused layouts Working knowledge of ADA compliance, accessibility standards, and site performance optimization Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, account management, and operations teams ➕ What Would Be Big Pluses Experience working in an agency or high-volume web production environment Familiarity with SEO best practices and how website structure impacts rankings and conversions Experience supporting SMB or local business clients Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript languages Experience building or scaling design systems 🌟 What You’ll Love About Working at Olly Olly Competitive pay: A salary that truly reflects your expertise and experience.
