Responsibilities

• Manage Drupal content. Build new pages based on content provided by university partners, update existing pages, select and size photos, and perform Drupal site configuration. (35%)
• Ensure website compliance with accessibility, brand visual identity, and usability standards by assessing issues and implementing appropriate remediation strategies. (20%)
• Support Drupal content editors by responding to daily help desk requests and determining the appropriate resolution, referral, or escalation for content, training, and technical issues. (20%)
• Provide training and guidance to university partners on website content management, including Drupal and basic accessibility, and respond to follow-up questions during drop-in support sessions. (10%)
• Guide stakeholders through the development of simplified websites by providing consultation on site setup, best practices, and project scope. (10%)
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned, which may include site architecture, analytics, or other website-related research. (5%)

Requirements

• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant work experience; OR Associate's degree and 4 years of relevant experience required.
• Proficiency using Drupal to create and update website content
• Working knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify the root cause of an issue and see it through to resolution
• Superior attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and requests at once
• Ability to work independently and as part of a group
• Excellent, thoughtful written and verbal communication skills, especially when supporting non-technical partners
• Proficiency with standard office and design tools (Google Suite; Photoshop)
• Ability to demonstrate successful support, education, and advocacy for all students, aligned with the values, mission, and messaging of the university, while adhering to the staff policy on conflict of commitment and interest
