Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead an integrated communications and corporate affairs strategy aligned with business priorities, corporate values, and risk considerations
  • Shape enterprise messaging frameworks, governance processes, and performance standards
  • Lead crisis readiness and enterprise crisis communications with cross-functional partners
  • Oversee executive visibility and external positioning, including speeches, thought leadership, and media engagement

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a senior communications or corporate affairs leader, ideally at Chief Communications Officer level or equivalent
  • Track record of leading organizations through transformation, crisis, and high-stakes reputational challenges
  • Experience operating in highly regulated industries (CPG preferred)
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess risk through commercial and market lenses
  • Demonstrated ability to advise C-suite leaders and Boards on complex, sensitive issues
  • Deep understanding of the intersection of communications, legal, compliance, and government affairs
  • Expertise in crisis communications, stakeholder management, and narrative development
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing external agency partners
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues clearly and credibly
  • High degree of judgment, integrity, and executive presence
