Responsibilities

• Partner across interdisciplinary teams to create and foster insights, sophisticated social strategies, creative thinking, and guide best-in-class execution.
• Bring a knowledge of the competitive landscape as it pertains to scalable qualitative insights, business dynamics, and category headwinds, to deliver meaningful results for our clients.
• Compose briefs that inspire creative teams, and steer and facilitate brainstorms and workshops.
• Direct the strategic development of client presentations delivering clear, compelling and persuasive communications to all stakeholders.
• Drive the development of new insights, cultural expertise, and methodologies for cultural analysis to ensure our brands and clients are culturally relevant.
• Partner with the other functional leadership to optimize and look for opportunities across the client portfolio for strategic growth of business.
• Build and maintain senior client and external agency relationships.
• Accountable for managing growth and development of direct reports, including goals and action planning, performance reviews, and carving out opportunities for their continued L&D.

Requirements

• 12+ years experience with strategically crafting content opportunities, guiding creative ideation, and building brands (at agency or Fortune 500 brands), ideally for CPG food or personal care
• Must have experience understanding the intersection of business strategy, consumer insights, and digital behavior in grounding purposeful ideas that drive brand relevance and business results
• Deep expertise and instincts of day-to-day culture across the social landscape and/or specialized focus in specific niches or subcultures, in order to provide actionable recommendations for brands
• Ability to review qualitative + quantitative research, and behavioral data and independently be able to dive into research tools to draw and interpret insights
• Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative in identifying business opportunities, discerning a clear path forward and acting upon them swiftly
• Proven leadership experience and recognized for their ability to balance mentorship and guidance of the team, with ensuring quality of strategic output
• Proven ability to interact with and influence people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and collaborative results
