Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Program Lifecycle Management: Treat nonprofit services and fundraising campaigns as product offerings. Define their value propositions, target candidates, and market positioning.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Lead the launch of new initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment between the programs, development, and communications teams.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct competitive analysis and constituent research to identify unmet needs within the community we serve.
  • Storytelling with Purpose: Translate RoboNation's programs and workforce development initiatives into compelling, action-oriented narratives that resonate with donors, partners, and beneficiaries.
  • Brand Integrity: Maintain a cohesive visual and verbal identity across all touchpoints, ensuring the organization is recognized as a leader in the robotics and workforce development space.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish KPIs for all marketing expenditures.
  • Digital Ecosystem Management: Oversee the website, SEO/SEM, email automation, and social media strategy to drive organic and paid growth.
  • Team Development: Mentor and manage a high-performing team of creative, digital, and communication professionals.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with the Communications and Development staff to align marketing efforts with fundraising goals and the Program team to ensure service delivery matches brand promises.

Requirements

  • The "Product" Lens: 10+ years of marketing experience, with a significant portion (3-5+ years) specifically in Product Marketing roles within Education, Tech, or consumer goods.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications (MBA preferred).
  • Proven Track Record: Experience taking a product or service from concept to market success with measurable ROI.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge), Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Messaging Mastery: Ability to simplify the "why" and "how" of a nonprofit’s mission into a "must-have" value proposition.
  • Adaptive Mindset: The wit and agility to navigate the resource constraints of a nonprofit while maintaining "Big Tech" standards of excellence.
