  • Executive Counsel: serve as senior advisor to C-suite clients and steer high-level PR and reputation strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Business & Revenue Management: Take ultimate ownership of portfolio forecasting, revenue delivery, and proactive resourcing to protect profitability and fuel commercial success.
  • Account Health & Wellness: Guard the overall health and wellness of your client portfolio. Ensure a premium consistency of service and assume direct responsibility for proactively navigating and remedying any missteps in delivery.
  • Budget & Scope Optimization: Lead the development of client scopes of work, building tactical monthly and annual plans to budget while managing resources tightly to ensure minimal over/under-service.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage client invoicing, draft contracts, and construct client addendums with precision. Oversee comprehensive project management pipelines – building, assigning, and tracking tasks to hit monthly and quarterly client KPIs.
  • C-Suite Advisory: Serve as a trusted, primary point of contact and senior advisor to C-suite clients, delivering high-level PR, reputation management, and commercial strategy.
  • Crisis & Risk Management: Provide decisive crisis counsel by conducting proactive risk assessments, prioritizing vulnerabilities, and drafting robust drawer statements and communications chains.
  • Productive Client Friction: Master the ability to navigate difficult client conversations and provide productive pushback where necessary to protect campaign integrity and team boundaries.
  • Brand Messaging & Workshops: Research, architect, and finalize corporate narrative outputs by preparing and leading client Storyhub and brand messaging framework sessions.
  • Organic Account Expansion: Systematically identify opportunities for organic growth within your portfolio and drive them from concept to closed - maintain a 70%+ client retention rate.
  • Inbound & Lead Generation: Source your own net-new business leads and maintain an active pipeline by leading discovery calls with prospective brands.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of agency and/or in-house communications experience.
  • Significant experience leading integrated PR and communications programs for technology clients.
  • Proven experience managing executive client relationships.
  • Strong business development and new business pitching experience.
  • Financial management experience, including revenue forecasting, utilization, budgets, and portfolio management.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
