Job Description

Own China market product marketing and GTM adoption for Walmart Connect, driving local resonance and cross-functional alignment.

  • Serve as the voice of the China market in roadmap planning and prioritization, translating local needs, advertiser signals, and business impact into clear recommendations that support Walmart Connect growth priorities.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Product and Engineering leaders to ensure China market opportunities are understood, sequenced, and incorporated into roadmap decisions in a way that is actionable for our Chinese stakeholders and aligned to broader business goals.
  • Build a deep understanding of Walmart Connect’s Performance, Brand, and Measurement solutions and use that knowledge to educate local teams on product capabilities, use cases, and market-relevant applications.
  • Customize the go-to-market strategy, launch assets, messaging, and enablement so they fit China market needs and local advertiser objectives.
  • Partner with local sales and cross-functional teams to define adoption strategies, targets, milestones, and activation approaches for priority products and features.
  • Establish a clear operating cadence to track adoption, triage blockers, and accelerate product usage in market.
  • Identify market, customer, and competitive signals that affect China performance and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Support launches and ongoing feature adoption by ensuring local teams have the right narrative, tools, and readiness materials.
  • Create and maintain local playbooks that help teams drive best-practice product usage and improve adoption outcomes over time.
  • Work with regional and global partners to ensure local execution is aligned to broader product marketing strategy while still reflecting China-specific needs.
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, regional product marketing, go-to-market, or a closely related role.
  • Experience supporting China or Greater China market needs in a product, platform, or advertising environment.
  • Strong ability to translate product capabilities into clear local value propositions, messaging, and enablement.
  • Experience building localized go-to-market plans, launch support, and adoption programs.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Strong analytical ability to assess adoption performance, identify blockers, and recommend actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coaching and developing local product marketing or marketing partners.
  • Experience partnering with Product Marketing, Product and Engineering to influence roadmap decisions based on market needs.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
  • Experience working across full-funnel advertising solutions.
  • Experience partnering with local sales teams on adoption and enablement.
  • Bilingual English and Mandarin communication skills.
  • Experience scaling product marketing best practices across markets.
  • Experience working in commerce media, advertising technology, platform marketing, or a multi-product ecosystem.
