Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Brand Marketing- Bravo : Intern will support a highly dynamic marketing team in concepting, developing, and executing marketing campaigns for Bravo. This includes brand initiatives including experiential marketing programs, tentpole cultural events and activations, strategic partnerships, and E-commerce merchandising initiatives.
  • Brand Marketing- Bravo : The intern will also be responsible for monitoring cultural trends on both a macro and micro level and conducting competitive research to inform our marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Bravo Multiplatform Strategy & Planning : The Bravo Multiplatform Strategy and Planning Team within NBCU oversees promotional scheduling on linear, Peacock, digital, and other platforms.
  • Bravo Multiplatform Strategy & Planning : The team works with a variety of different partners in marketing to create and execute promotional strategies, which helps promote all linear and streaming programming on a daily basis.
  • Digital Content Strategy, Bravo Digital : Intern will assist with/create NBCU IP intelligence reports for entertainment marketing teams and stakeholders (search, social, AI, etc.), conduct keyword research for editorial team and other relevant teams, assist with bravotv.com homepage programming tasks, assist with other intelligence or performance reports and presentations, assist with Bravo Insider editorial and fan acquisition initiatives (creating blog posts, monitoring fan submission initiatives, etc.)

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2026 through April 2027). December 2026 graduates are not eligible for this Academic Year Internship Program.
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
  • Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027.
  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
  • For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Previous public relations experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Muck Rack, Cision, and Google Alerts a plus, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience or familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite a plus (Premiere, Photoshop).
  • Familiarity with HTML & Web technologies.
  • Familiarity with content management systems or a willingness to learn.
  • Strong writing skills, with ability to write clean copy quickly and efficiently for short-form, digital and promotional content.
  • Experience creating content for various social media platforms.
  • Ability to multitask, highly organized, and strong attention to detail.
