Job Description

Own content production and public storytelling for county transportation, turning internal data and partnerships into ready-to-publish materials; manage social, events, and ADA compliant communications.

  • Responsibilities: Content creation including videos, photos, interviews, and written materials.
  • Social and engagement: Manage and schedule posts; monitor platforms and address resident questions.
  • On-location capture: Conduct frequent site visits to document content for social media and press materials.
  • Public relations cadence: Highlight employee achievements and maintain regular public follow-up.
  • Event orchestration: Plan and execute press conferences and outreach activities that drive interest.
  • Collaborative storytelling: Create persuasive content with County and regional partners.
  • Platform exploration: Research new engagement platforms and propose fresh approaches.
  • Content gathering: Gather information from five divisions to support releases and newsletters.
  • Publications and reporting: Prepare publications, newsletter articles, display materials, and weekly social reports.
  • Accessibility and extra duties: Ensure ADA compliance and perform additional duties as assigned.
