Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the U.S. trade marketing strategy in partnership with U.S. Sales and Brand Marketing to align with priorities.
  • Lead trade and shopper marketing programs and toolkits for national, regional, and retailer levels, including promotions.
  • Develop account-specific POS materials with Brand Marketing, Sales, design teams, and vendors for consistency and effectiveness.
  • Own and manage the annual trade marketing budget, planning and optimizing spend for ROI.
  • Evaluate promotional impact using Circana, Margin Minder, and internal data; translate insights into actions.
  • Create and manage coupon programs end-to-end, including execution, tracking, and analysis.
  • Administer and maintain the SharePoint site for timely sales communications.
  • Oversee POS fulfillment vendor operations for accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Occasional travel to support sales meetings and key account engagements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in trade marketing, shopper marketing, or commercial marketing in CPG or Food & Beverage.
  • Proven track record developing and executing national and account-specific trade marketing strategies that drive measurable sales lift and ROI.
  • Experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with budget management and optimization of trade spend.
  • Advanced experience with syndicated data (Circana or similar) and trade analytics tools; translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven ability to build annual trade calendars, align to brand priorities, and deliver against volume and revenue targets.
  • Experience working with creative partners and external POS vendors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate strategy into clear, actionable plans.
  • Strong organizational skills and operational rigor, including budget management, forecasting, and program tracking.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, business major preferred.
