Support texting fundraising programs for progressive campaigns and donor engagement.

  • Draft fundraising copy, build and QA text campaigns, and maintain reporting databases.
  • Must-have: US-based senior or recent grad with full-time (~40h) availability.
  • Hands-on exposure to high-profile progressive campaigns and nonprofits.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content creation, texting production, and reporting
  • You’ll learn the ins and outs of mobile fundraising and donor engagement.
  • draft fundraising copy, build and QA text campaigns, maintain reporting databases, analyze performance data, pitch creative ideas, and assist with administrative tasks and other responsibilities.
  • You’ll also gain hands-on experience with high-profile progressive campaigns and non-profit organizations while learning how texting programs are built, tested, and optimized to balance donor relationships and fundraising.

Requirements

  • You’re a senior, in your final year of an undergraduate program, or a recent graduate
  • Are based in the United States
  • Can commit to full-time (40-hour work week) or near full-time availability
  • Are a team player
  • Have a solid understanding of the U.S. political system and key progressive issues
  • Are committed to working for progressive political candidates and causes

Preferred

  • Have experience with digital fundraising or political communications
  • Have worked on a political campaign, advocacy organization, or nonprofit
  • Have experience with spreadsheets, reporting, or data tracking
  • Have familiarity with texting or CRM tools
  • Are a fantastic writer with a strong creative voice
