Job Description

Responsibilities
  • We’re not just building technology—we’re dedicated to delivering real, positive impact on people’s financial lives. Intuit’s mission is to power prosperity around the world for consumers, small businesses and the self-employed. The Brand Storytelling and Experiences group brings that mission to life through high-impact and transformative campaigns and experiences around the globe all designed to shape, showcase, and demonstrate the power and meaning behind the Intuit ecosystem.
  • We inspire customers with a variety of live and virtual events and galvanize our 19,000+ employees around what matters most to our customers with best-in-class storytelling. This cross-functional, high-performing team serves as a center of excellence for the company and includes experts across video, experience design, strategic content, event production, experiential marketing and more.
  • As a Staff Brand and Marketing Designer you will drive ideation and execution of 2D and 3D motion design and animation across multiple campaigns and touchpoints.
  • You will elevate the craft of motion design by bringing a wealth of experience and external inspiration to continuously raise the bar.
  • This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role accountable for creative concepting, previsualization and animation working directly with design, copy, video and strategy partners and reporting to the Group Manager of Motion Design.
  • In this role, you will transform forward-looking concepts into engaging, resonant motion experiences that inspire internal teams and external audiences alike.
  • You’ll bring Intuit’s intelligent product initiatives to life through storytelling that galvanizes and delights, helping Intuit present itself as a cutting-edge, values-driven company that genuinely improves people’s lives.
  • Your work will create alignment, momentum, and excitement around initiatives that matter, ensuring our innovations are experienced as more than just products—they are pathways to prosperity.
  • If you see yourself as a creator, storyteller, and builder driven by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference, this role is for you.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience pitching, developing, designing and animating 2D, 3D and experiential motion deliverables at leading studios, agencies and companies.
  • A portfolio that shows excellent creative taste and design & motion sensibility.
  • Depth of experience through highly engaging and creative event, show package, marketing, sizzle video and presentation deck work.
  • Examples of product demos with storytelling–focused motion design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
  • Passion for all things motion design. You love the work, follow the industry, and are a continuous student of the craft.
  • Personal creative practice outside of work to fuel inspiration and creativity.
  • Exceptional narrative instincts—sense of pacing, emphasis, and emotional resonance.
  • Exceptional experiential instincts—an intuitive understanding of space, medium, audience experience, and emotional impact.
  • An audience-first approach to your storytelling where you can use audience and marketing insights, and empathy to inform and justify your creative.
  • Ability to express abstract ideas like intelligence, decision-making, or trust through motion.
Preferred
  • Experience in other related motion design tools (eg, Unreal Engine, Cavalry, Rive, Processing, DaVinci, Nuke are a plus)
  • Interest and working proficiency in using AI as a helper tool (rather than as a replacement for creativity). (eg. Weavy, Comfy UI, Krea)
