Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Care.com's executive social program — developing distinct, authentic content strategies for individual leaders on LinkedIn and beyond, writing in their voice, and building their presence as credible thought leaders in the caregiving and future-of-work space.
  • Identify cultural moments, trending topics, and industry conversations where Care.com's executives can add genuine value — and move quickly to capitalize on them.
  • Lead social listening efforts, including monitoring brand mentions, sentiment, and emerging conversations, and translating findings into actionable creative and strategic recommendations for the team.
  • Own organic social reporting for assigned workstreams, including data sourcing, analysis, and executive-ready summaries.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with our social listening vendor (Sprout Social), including dashboard development, reporting cadences, and tool optimization.
  • Partner with analytics teams to connect organic performance to broader marketing outcomes.
  • Contribute social content ideas, copy, and creative direction across brand and campaign initiatives — staying ahead of platform trends and format shifts and bringing them to the team proactively.
  • Support community management and platform engagement across Care.com's owned channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Creative Studio, and Legal to align social content with broader business priorities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in social media, content strategy, or digital communications — ideally at a consumer-facing brand or tech company.
  • Demonstrated experience with executive or personal brand social content — you've written in someone else's voice and made it feel genuinely human.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style across multiple executive voices and content formats.
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable pulling platform data, finding the insight, and presenting it in a way that drives a decision.
  • Deep fluency in how social platforms work: not just best practices, but the real mechanics of what travels, what gets cited, and why.
  • Proficiency with Sprout Social or comparable social media management and listening tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing generative AI tools (e.g., LLMs) to augment content creation, drive efficiencies, and scale output, while demonstrating awareness of responsible and ethical AI use.
  • Awareness of how organic social content intersects with AI-generated answers, GEO, and LLM visibility, plus genuine curiosity and initiative to learn.
  • Mission-driven mindset and interest in caregiving, family care, social impact, or the future of work.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Benefits

  • health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance
  • a generous 401K employer matching program
  • paid holidays
  • paid time off (PTO)
  • annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives
