Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver compelling, insight-driven narratives that communicate Foodbuy’s value to Members and Compass sectors
  • Partner with category and pricing teams to translate performance data into clear, engaging stories that highlight impact and opportunities
  • Create and communicate “Foodbuy wins” by collaborating across teams to showcase success stories and differentiators
  • Synthesize competitive activity and market trends into actionable messaging and thought leadership for internal and external audiences
  • Lead the development of high-impact presentations and materials for senior stakeholders
  • Partner with E15 Group to support proprietary research and translate findings into business-facing insights
  • Oversee Foodbuy Member satisfaction surveys, including design, execution, and communication of key themes and opportunities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, compelling narratives
  • Strong experience developing executive-level presentations (PowerPoint or similar tools)
  • Comfortable working with data and using it to inform messaging and decision-making (advanced technical expertise not required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across functions and levels
  • Experience creating content, campaigns, or messaging that drives engagement or influences decision-making
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Foodservice or B2B experience a plus
  • Candidates must be based in Charlotte, NC
