Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an organization-wide, data-driven marketing strategy aligned with revenue growth, donor acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and analytics to measure marketing effectiveness, return on investment, and audience engagement.
  • Lead integrated brand, marketing, and communications strategies that align with organizational priorities and fundraising objectives.
  • Ensure consistent, mission-centered messaging across all channels, including digital, print, public relations, events, and internal communications.
  • Oversee editorial strategy and content calendars to ensure timely, cohesive, and high-impact outreach.
  • Elevate the Federation’s profile as a thought leader through compelling storytelling, media engagement, and visibility initiatives.
  • Serve as the lead strategist for executive communications, thought leadership, and crisis communications.
  • Advise the CEO, senior leadership, and Board on messaging, positioning, and public communications.
  • Partner closely with the CEO to enhance executive presence, visibility, and influence.
  • Oversee public relations strategy and manage relationships with external agencies and media partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing and communications experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success leading integrated marketing strategies that drive growth, engagement, and measurable results.
  • Experience with marketing analytics, CRM systems, digital platforms, and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong background in media relations, executive communications, and brand management.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and collaborate with high-performing internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven, high-visibility environment.
  • Experience in the nonprofit, philanthropic, or Jewish communal sector preferred.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
