Job Summary

Own the evolution and governance of Team USA visual identity at scale, balancing brand standards with practical use for designers, marketers, and partners.

  • Brand Governance: shape decision rights, approvals, and escalation while keeping the system coherent across touchpoints.
  • System Ownership: drive architecture of logo, color, typography, iconography, motion, photography, and LA28 co-branding integration.
  • Education and Partnerships: build brand literacy programs and lead external partnerships with agencies, sponsors, and licensees.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead governance and evolution of the Team USA visual identity
  • Establish design principles and frameworks for a consistent on-brand presence
  • Steward consistent application across all brand touchpoints
  • Develop and refine visual identity system including logo, color, typography, iconography, motion, and photography
  • Integrate the LA28 Games visuals into the TUSA system for co-branded contexts
  • Proactively extend the visual system to meet future needs
  • Commission and manage original brand design work with internal designers and external studios
  • Maintain Brand Standards across surfaces: digital, social, broadcast, environmental, merchandise, events, and partner co-branding
  • Ensure guidelines are practical for real users (designers, marketers, agencies, sponsors, licensees)
  • Establish a regular cadence for reviewing and updating standards
