Job Summary

Own and coordinate OD’s content strategy and execution for the LTL freight brand, turning insights into accessible education and growth-focused experiences across the website, landing pages, and campaigns.

  • Translate strategy into multi-format content plans (infographics, guides, conversion campaigns) to boost discoverability and customer education.
  • Write and optimize short- and long-form content, manage publishing via AEM and Knak, and ensure brand consistency and ROI across channels.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure clear and concise communication about the OD brand and LTL freight industry, and provide insights to customers through the odfl.com website and landing pages
  • Translate strategic themes into content plans that span formats like infographics, guides, and website conversion campaigns
  • Identify opportunities to gather content from internal and external subject matter experts; develop and execute content/story ideas to support discoverability and the educational needs of customers
  • Write both short- and long-form pieces for OD website and landing pages, and campaigns for the purposes of elevating our brand, improving the user experience, and maximizing ROI
  • Supports colleagues with proofreading and authoring content for various channels
  • AI-enabled content execution; Use AI tools to support content creation, personalization, and reuse
  • Maintain content calendars and asset inventories
  • Plan and manage content publishing using Adobe Experience Manager and Knak
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of content, and ensure digital initiatives align with broader business objectives
  • Ensure consistent adherence to brand standards across all digital content
  • Optimize website performance for SEO, GEO and AIO accessibility while maintaining a superior user experience. Work with partners and platforms to implement approved directives
  • Recommend technical SEO and structured data improvements to boost discoverability and rankings
  • Monitor, analyze and report on channel traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics with tools such as Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, and BrightEdge

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Information Design, or related field.
  • 4+ years of content writing experience
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a demonstrated ability to create clear, accurate, user-friendly digital content
  • Experience working with CMS platforms (Adobe AEM, WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal)
  • Experience with SEO tools (BrightEdge, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs) and analytics platforms (Adobe, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and commitment to content accuracy
  • Be a self starter with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a demonstrated capability to work as part of interdisciplinary teams and build effective working relationships
