Job Summary

Own and scale the influencer, community, and event programs for SMB growth, translating creator feedback into product inputs and driving multi-channel registration and first shipment.

  • Lead influencer and community initiatives with measurable attribution
  • Design SMB events and drive programmatic acquisition across channels

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the influencer strategy -- identify, engage, and launch relationships with the creators SMB merchants trust (e-commerce, logistics, and small-business creators across YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, podcasts, and newsletters), with measurable attribution from content to registration starts and first shipment.
  • Own the community presence -- build an authentic, trusted Amazon Shipping presence across seller communities (Reddit, Facebook seller groups, Discord servers, and industry forums): define rules of engagement, show up credibly in merchant conversations, and create community programs that position Amazon Shipping as the obvious choice for growing merchants.
  • Design and run SMB events -- build the SMB-specific event strategy (which events, what presence, who attends) and the playbook that converts event engagement into registrations, while representing SMB in broader Amazon Shipping event programs.
  • Drive programmatic acquisition -- move beyond 1:1 selling by building community- and influencer-led channels that bring cohorts of hundreds or thousands of SMBs into the self-service funnel simultaneously, multiplying through the team's conversion engine.
  • Serve as the voice of the community -- translate community sentiment, creator feedback, and merchant friction signals into clear inputs for Product, Tech, and Operations to improve the self-service experience.
  • Define and own growth metrics -- set channel OKRs (community- and influencer-sourced registration starts, conversion, cost per acquisition, time-to-first-shipment), track rigorously, and iterate to maximize ROI.
  • Coordinate across partnership scope -- work closely with the central Amazon Shipping Partnerships team where community and creator plays overlap platform-level deals, owning the SMB lens on shared opportunities.
  • Own your domain end-to-end -- operate as the subject matter expert for your channel, define BD strategy that complements the product strategy, and deliver results through scalable mechanisms rather than one-off effort.
  • Think big and innovate -- identify emerging communities, creator ecosystems, and non-obvious channels that unlock new SMB segments for Amazon Shipping.

Amazon

Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. We are driven by the excitement of building technologies, inventing products, and providing services that change lives. We embrace new ways of doing things, make decisions quickly, and are not afraid to fail. We have the scope and capabilities of a large company, and the spirit and heart of a small one. Together, Amazonians research and develop new technologies from Amazon Web Services to Alexa on behalf of our customers: shoppers, sellers, content creators, and developers around the world. Our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. Our actions, goals, projects, programs, and inventions begin and end with the customer top of mind. You'll also hear us say that at Amazon, it's always "Day 1." What do we mean? That our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon's very first day - to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and focus on delighting our customers.
