Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute outreach strategies, crafting personalized pitches to secure quality media coverage and links
  • Write and refine press materials, media pitches, and supporting documents to align with client objectives
  • Monitor and analyse PR performance metrics to optimize campaign effectiveness and pivot strategy when necessary
  • Manage proactive and reactive media opportunities, including newsjacking and campaign planning
  • Provide actionable insights through link gap analysis and audience targeting strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets
  • Collaborate with SEO, Content, and Social teams to align PR activities with broader marketing strategies
  • Use PR tools and analytics platforms to track campaign performance and outreach success such as Buzzstream, Muckrack, Qwoted, BuzzSumo, Ahrefs, and more
  • Present reports and recommendations to clients with confidence and clarity
  • Continuously refine outreach strategies to improve response rates and placements

Requirements

  • Experience in PR, media relations, or a related field
  • Strong media relations skills with a proven track record of securing media placements
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with experience in crafting press materials and pitches
  • Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Proficiency in PR tools and analytics platforms
  • Experience with integrated campaigns across PR, SEO, Content, and Social
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of industry trends and audience targeting strategies
  • Experience in traditional PR, including securing broadcast placements, print and magazine coverage, trade press features, newsletter inclusions, podcast appearances, and/or radio spots an advantage
  • Experience working in an agency environment is preferred

  • Experience in agency environment is preferred
  • Experience in digital PR, link building, or content marketing is an advantage
  • Experience with integrated campaigns across PR, SEO, Content, and Social is an advantage
