Job Summary

Drive regional activation and field-marketing execution for a Coke Florida market, coordinating national guidelines with local events, agencies, and budgets to deliver on consumer engagement and sales goals.

  • Own local activation planning, post-event analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with field teams and DSMs/SAMs.
  • Coordinate external partners and internal creative processes to bring events to life within budget and KPI targets.
  • Track performance and report impact to leadership with concise, decision-ready insights.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Commercial Marketing Specialist assists in planning and executing National (Goat) brand marketing programs, events, and Coca-Cola Florida commercial operations within the designated market.
  • Support Field Sales Operations to ensure brand visibility, consumer engagement, and sales objectives through effective local activation, partnerships, shopper, and marketing initiatives.
  • Act as a strategic resource to steward execution that fits the tiering-event approach, managing external resources (agencies, sampling teams, brand teams) to bring events/activations to life.
  • Assist in implementing regional marketing strategy and annual plans aligned with national marketing goals and sales targets.
  • Support Region special projects integrating national guidelines, field insights, survey evaluations, customers, and competitive actions.
  • Help track KPIs for field marketing activities, including scorecarding, program modeling analysis, and post-performance reviews.
  • Assist pre-event planning meetings and post-event debriefs to evaluate successes and opportunities.
  • Lead and contribute to local customer meetings from a marketing perspective with DSMs and SAMs to drive aligned execution.
  • Support creative development with internal/external agencies, oversee POS orders, and manage regional activation element purchases.
  • Lead end-to-end PO and payment processing through the Ariba system, and support budget management with monthly invoice tracking to avoid overspend.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in project management, marketing, retail, event management, or equivalent work experience.
  • Analytical basic skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Basic customer marketing and promotions experience.
  • Microsoft Office experience required
