Job Summary

Own the visual storytelling and branding for an NCAA program, shaping design concepts, event photography, and cross-channel production that fuels fan and alumni engagement. Drive collaboration across Athletic Communications, Marketing, and external relations to deliver high quality digital, print, and social assets that elevate the department’s identity.

  • Content Engine: Lead original design concepts, photography, and brand storytelling to raise the department’s visual presence.
  • Production & Collaboration: Coordinate assets with Athletic Communications, Creative Interns, Marketing, and external relations for digital, print, and social use.
  • Platform & Audience Reach: Create assets that engage fans, student-athletes, and alumni across platforms.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Assistant Director of Creative Content will assist the Athletic Communications staff in advancing a quality NCAA Division I athletics program through the development of compelling visual content, photography, and graphic design that enhances the department’s brand identity, supports storytelling initiatives, and engages fans, student-athletes and alumni.
  • This position will collaborate closely with Athletic Communications, Creative Interns, Marketing, and external relations units to coordinate, create, and produce high-quality creative assets for digital, print, and social media platforms across Middle Tennessee Athletics.
  • The Assistant Director of Creative Content will contribute to elevating the department’s visual presence through original design concepts, event photography, and brand-driven storytelling while supporting the promotion of all athletic programs.
  • As directed by departmental leadership, this individual will work toward achieving excellence in all phases of creative content production, cultivating a positive and collaborative work environment, while managing daily responsibilities with character, integrity, creativity, and professionalism.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree required
