Job Summary

Own the instructional design and rollout of CTE programs across multiple schools, acting as the bridge between the CTE office and campus teams while leading staff development and resource sourcing.

  • Curriculum & Design: Create, align, and implement CTE curricula and model best practices for classrooms and PLCs.
  • School & Stakeholder Alignment: Coordinate with schools and drive marketing, recruitment, and program support efforts.
  • Implementation & Enablement: Lead professional learning communities and ensure resources, materials, and equipment are ready for rollout.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates curriculum writing, alignment, and implementation of Career and Technical Education programs; models best practices.
  • Serves as a liaison between the CTE office and the schools.
  • Supports CTE in all aspects of design and implementation.
  • Coordinates and/or conducts staff development for curriculum implementation of Career and Technical Education.
  • Communicates vision and goals to school faculty, staff and builds CTE program support.
  • Must be willing to drive to schools.
  • Coordinates/facilitates professional learning communities.
  • Locates and assists with purchasing appropriate resources, instructional materials, supplies and equipment.
  • Assists with marketing, communication, and recruitment efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. (Master's Degree Preferred)
  • Experience: Three (3) years successful teaching experience.
  • Certification & Licenses: Florida Department of Education Certification in a Career and Technical Education Program.
  • Knowledge of Career and Technical Education programs content
  • Knowledge of Carl Perkins grant
  • Knowledge for Career and Technical Education career clusters
  • Knowledge of differentiated instruction
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong training development and delivery skills

Preferred

  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • Some computer programming skills preferred
