Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and execution of marketing plans, advertising campaigns, and projects to maintain and improve brand identity and drive traffic and home game attendance
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Create, design, develop, and curate engaging content for social media platforms, print and electronic collateral, and website that are aligned with our mission for marketing campaigns and revenue-generating efforts
  • Measure, monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results, and help analyze data and provide insights to optimize performance and inform future strategies
  • Assist with updating and maintaining our website, including monitoring social media channels for comments, inquiries, and feedback
  • Assist with promoting fundraising events and opportunities, assist in identifying appropriate grant and donation opportunities and in submitting requisite applications
  • Additional tasks as requested by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred, or comparable work experience
  • Experience in Graphic Design, Marketing and/or Communications and all aspects of creating social media and marketing content to support the current marketing strategy
  • Experience in web/digital graphic design and production, including websites, emails, web banners, social media, and mobile device marketing pieces
  • Must have technical proficiency and advanced knowledge of multiple communication channels including web, email, and social media
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including positive interpersonal skills
  • A bility to present information clearly and concisely
  • Excellent organization skills and time management skills and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or under minimal supervision and the ability to take full ownership of a task or project and present ideas clearly and effectively
  • Quick, yet thoughtful with decision-making skills; knows when to ask questions, when to act, when to escalate, and when to ask for help
  • Desire to have a direct hand in transforming and growing our brand
  • Being a soccer fan and/or player is helpful, but being a team player is essential
