Job Description

Responsibilities

Supports professional staff in generating social media posts for the Illinois State Fair
Assists in gathering content by taking photos and videos during the fair
Contributes suggestions for timely and engaging posts utilizing knowledge of social media trends
Assists with general office work including answering the phone, performing data entry, and answering basic questions from the public
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above

Requirements

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of high school.
Requires active enrollment at a college.
Requires the ability to successfully pass a background check and self disclosure of criminal history.

Preferred

Prefers basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Prefers experience working in a business or public organization creating social media posts.
Prefers experience maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
