Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish 2-3 content-driven social media posts per week across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, Reddit, etc.).
  • Develop one (1) reel per week, from ideation to execution.
  • Design static graphics for key announcements, releases, promotions, and events.
  • Post evergreen content to maintain a steady posting cadence between major releases.
  • Work independently to plan, produce, and modify the social media content calendar, flagging issues and proposing content improvements proactively.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to execute social media strategies around key launches to drive organic growth.
  • Develop content that reinforces the brand voice while resonating with the target audience.
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, platform best practices, and fandoms to inform content strategies.
  • Monitor audience engagement metrics to identify opportunities to optimize content performance.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in the entertainment industry.
  • High proficiency in graphic design for static social graphics.
  • High proficiency in video editing for short-form reels/shorts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; comfortable working independently.
  • Detail-oriented, with a track record of catching errors before they go live.
  • Deep, platform-specific knowledge with an understanding of how content, format, and tone should differ across each platform.
  • Strong written communication skills, with excellent attention to grammar and tone.
  • Deep familiarity with the webcomics/manhwa/anime sphere.
