Job Summary

Own the end-to-end social media lifecycle for podcast clients, from strategy and content creation to publishing, engagement, and performance reporting across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube and emerging platforms.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute monthly social media content calendars.
  • Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
  • Edit short-form video clips, graphics, reels, and promotional assets using podcast content.
  • Write compelling captions, calls-to-action, and social copy that aligns with each client's voice.
  • Schedule and publish content across all platforms.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement.
  • Stay current with social media trends and recommend new content ideas.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content during podcast productions and on-location shoots.
  • Track performance metrics and provide monthly reports with recommendations for continued growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the producer and clients to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube.
  • Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Organized with a strong understanding of branding and aesthetics.
  • Reliable transportation for occasional production days throughout the Los Angeles area.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and audience growth.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, creativity, and willingness to learn.

Preferred

  • Experience creating content for brands, podcasts, or personal businesses.
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
  • Photography and videography experience.
  • Experience with podcast or digital media production.
