Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a proficient understanding of social platforms as well as the latest tools and applications in social marketing.

  • Keep up to date on current trends within the represented industries of the agency.
  • Develop a keen understanding of social marketing measurement and reporting tools.
  • Maintain an understanding of partner brand voices and create authentic stories that drive engagement and revenue.
  • Achieve the marketing goals and social metric KPIs set forth by client partners and account teams.
  • Build and draft social media content calendars. Produce accompanying creative assets.
  • Account Ownership: Serve as Account Lead on partner accounts, including account team leadership, partner relationship development and communication, as well as social marketing duties.
  • Strategy Evolution: Apply continuous improvement to social strategy development, optimizing nimbly to meet partner needs while considering the latest social media best practices and trends.
  • Account Recovery: Work with leadership to establish rapid-response "Recovery Plan" strategies for account recovery when needed, while maintaining poise and calm to strengthen partner relationships.
  • A/B Testing: Implement A/B testing in content strategy and paid social campaigns. Apply key learnings gained from insights.
  • Content Planning: Develop and execute yearly content plans to drive consistent brand storytelling and social metric KPI s.
  • Content Production: Develop and produce social media assets, whether through own means, in partnership with clients and other creators, or in collaboration with the agency’s Studio team.
  • Community Management: Actively monitor and engage partner social audiences to build brand loyalty, solve customer issues and incentivize engagement.
  • Community Engagement: Proactively maintain lists of influential entities, personalities, local businesses, community groups and more, reaching out to them often for collaborative partnerships to amplify partner’s social presence and grow social followings.
  • Influencer Marketing: Work with agency influencer team to maintain targeted creator lists, reaching out to influencers regularly for content development and collaborative opportunities as well as opportunities for partnership growth? (note: kept as written) ?

Requirements

  • Must be based in Eastern Time Zone
  • 3+ years of social media experience or equivalent
  • Experience leading social marketing campaigns across platforms (including content planning, content production, community management)
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and tools in social marketing
  • Ability to develop yearly content plans and deliver social KPI-driven outcomes
  • Experience with influencer marketing and building creator relationships
  • Ability to conduct performance tracking and report insights to stakeholders
  • A/B testing experience in content strategy and paid social campaigns
  • Account ownership or client leadership experience across partner accounts
  • Strategic development and evolution of social strategies
  • Ability to build and draft social media content calendars and accompanying assets
  • Experience with rapid-response recovery plans for accounts
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with ability to maintain partner brand voices
  • Ability to forecast emerging trends and drive adoption of new channels and tools
  • Proven ability to manage communities and drive engagement
  • Experience working with agency teams and collaboration with Studio teams
  • Excellent collaboration and communication with account teams and partners
