Job Summary
Own and execute the end-to-end social media program for an exclusive event, building channels from zero, crafting the content calendar, producing platform-specific assets, coordinating high-profile collaborations, and delivering monthly performance insights.

Responsibilities
- Build and grow social channels from the ground up across Instagram, X, and other relevant platforms
- Propose and manage content collaborations with high-profile individuals connected to the event
- Own the monthly content calendar from concept through creative direction
- Draft and publish all content
- Partner with our creative team to produce platform-specific, engaging assets
- Monitor and manage community engagement across channels
- Deliver monthly performance reporting with insights and recommendations
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional social media experience
- Proven experience growing channels from zero, not just maintaining existing ones
- Comfort and professionalism working with high-profile individuals and sensitive, exclusive brand positioning
- Strong creative instincts - able to generate interest and buzz around something intentionally exclusive
- Excellent writing and content creation skills across short and long-form formats
- Experience building and executing content calendars end-to-end
- Analytics fluency and experience delivering clear, actionable monthly reports
- Chicago-based strongly preferred; fully remote considered for the right candidate
