Job Summary

Own the social content lifecycle across multiple platforms, turning product visuals into platform tailored short-form content and campaigns for growth.

  • Content ownership: calendar, timing, and post formats for FB, IG, and TikTok.
  • Audience and optimization: captions, CTAs, and performance feedback to refine formats and posting strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging content (photos, videos, Reels, Stories, TikToks) across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  • Write compelling captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action tailored to each platform's audience and algorithm.
  • Develop a consistent visual brand aesthetic and tone of voice across all channels.
  • Collaborate with the business owner to photograph products, services, or in-store events for use in content.
  • Repurpose long-form content into platform-appropriate short-form formats.
  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a monthly social media content calendar.
  • Research current social media trends, viral content formats, and relevant hashtags.
  • Identify and propose new platform opportunities or content series to expand reach.
  • Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, promotions, and sales events.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an Associate's, Bachelor's, or equivalent program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and active presence on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Strong writing skills with an ability to adapt voice and tone for different audiences and platforms.
  • Creative eye for visual content - photography, short-form video, and graphic design.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.

Preferred

  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar graphic design tools.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or Meta Business Suite.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and social media algorithms.
  • Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager or Instagram Ads.
