Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, working from our existing content backlog
• Develop and execute social media strategy in collaboration with the founder
• Manage community engagement — comments, DMs, and conversations across all platforms
• Follow, engage with, and build relationships with car mod, mechanic, and automotive accounts
• Spot emerging trends and advise on how CoGarage should (or shouldn\'t) jump in
• Advise on gaps in our content backlog and what we should be shooting next
• Track KPIs (post performance, follower growth, click-throughs) and report on what\'s working
• Help shape and maintain a consistent brand voice across channels
• Discover and track local car influencers for potential partnerships

Requirements

• Deep, current knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — what performs, what doesn\'t, and why
• Experience managing multiple social accounts for brands
• Proficiency with social media scheduling and analytics tools
• Experience with influencer outreach and partnerships
• Strong written English and a feel for brand voice
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Instagram, etc.)
• Based in a US time zone

Preferred

• Personal automotive passion — you wrench, you mod, you care
• Experience running car-focused social media or content
• Ability to occasionally come into the El Monte shop for shoots
• Spanish-language proficiency is a plus
