Job Summary

Drive DAMA SUTRA’s social narrative as a Luxury Fashion Social Media Manager, delivering editorial short-form content and cultivating an early tastemaker community.

  • Own and publish Reels, carousels, and short-form video across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
  • Must-have: 2–5 years managing social for fashion, luxury, or creative brands.
  • Standout: Ability to translate luxury branding into a visually rich, editorial feed.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and publish photo and video content across Instagram, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
  • Create Reels, carousels, and short-form video content
  • Write captions aligned with DAMA SUTRA’s distinctive brand voice
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule and content calendar
  • Translate the brand’s themes of power, sensuality, artistry, and transformation into social content
  • Develop visually compelling posts that reflect a luxury editorial aesthetic
  • Highlight product design, creative process, and brand philosophy
  • Monitor comments and messages across platforms
  • Engage thoughtfully with followers and relevant voices across fashion, art, design, and culture
  • Help cultivate an early community of tastemakers, customers, and collaborators

Requirements

  • Have 2–5 years of experience managing social media for a fashion, lifestyle, luxury, or creative brand
  • Have a strong visual sensibility and understanding of luxury branding
  • Are comfortable creating and editing photos and short-form videos, especially Reels
  • Understand Instagram growth and engagement strategy
  • Are highly organized and able to manage a content calendar independently
  • Are excited by the opportunity to help build an emerging fashion brand from the ground up
  • Are able to occasionally travel around the Los Angeles Area for team meetings and client activations (approximately 1–3x/month)

Nice To Have

  • Have worked with fashion designers, creative studios, or luxury brands
  • Are familiar with AI-assisted creative tools
  • Have a strong interest in fashion, art, design, and cultural storytelling
