Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Strategy & Management - Support and execute Proper Hospitality’s organic social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels
  • Plan and manage content calendars in alignment with brand campaigns, programming, and seasonal initiatives
  • Champion brand voice and ensure consistency across all social channels
  • Monitor performance metrics including engagement, reach, video views, and saves, and provide actionable insights
  • Partner with Growth, PR, and Brand teams to align social content with broader marketing initiatives
  • Assist in managing influencer and creator collaborations

Content Creation & On-Property Production

  • Work on-site across Proper Hospitality properties to capture: - Interior and architectural photography - Lifestyle and short-form video content - Events and cultural programming
  • Create social-first, visually compelling content that reflects each property’s identity and energy
  • Edit and deliver high-quality photo and video assets in a timely manner
  • Proactively identify moments, spaces, and stories worth capturing

Property-Level Social Oversight

  • Lead social media execution for select properties, including Hotel June and The Culver Hotel
  • Tailor content strategy to each property’s unique audience and positioning
  • Align content with on-property programming, events, and partnerships
  • Manage community engagement and day-to-day publishing

Collaboration & Creative Alignment

  • Partner closely with Creative, Marketing, F&B, and property teams to ensure cohesive storytelling
  • Support broader brand storytelling across Proper Hospitality and related initiatives
  • Maintain organized asset libraries and contribute to ongoing content needs

Other

    Requirements

    • 4–6 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing (hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury preferred)
    • Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, and performance metrics
    • Proven ability to create engaging photo and video content for social-first platforms
    • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, mobile editing apps)
    • A refined visual eye with an appreciation for design, hospitality, and culture
    • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
    • Collaborative mindset and comfort working across multiple teams and properties
    • Willingness to travel locally and work on-site regularly
