Job Summary
Own social content planning, execution, and performance strategy for Rooms To Go’s social channels, coordinating cross-functional creative work and data-driven optimization.
- Social Content & Campaign Execution: plan, create, and schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest with brand-consistent messaging.
- Community & Partnerships: monitor channels, respond to comments/DMs, and support influencer collaborations and paid campaigns.
- Analytics & Trend Strategy: track metrics, generate weekly insights, and inform content direction based on competitive and trend research.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
- Create and schedule engaging content including captions, graphics, and short-form videos
- Monitor social channels, respond to comments/DMs, and support community engagement
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics and provide weekly reports
- Research trends, competitors, and best practices to inform content strategy
- Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative teams to ensure brand consistency
- Assist with on-site content shoots, product promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- Support influencer partnerships and social campaigns as needed
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and retail/e-commerce
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills [zippia.com]
- Creative mindset with ability to generate engaging content ideas
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic analytics tools
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
Preferred
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
- Basic video editing (Reels/TikTok)
- Understanding of home furnishings or lifestyle branding (plus)
