Job Summary

Tell Idaho Youth Ranch’s thrift-store stories by creating fun, trend-aware content across social channels and linking purchases to youth-program impact; collaborate with the marketing team, respond to followers, and amplify awareness.

Own thrift-store content creation across Instagram and Facebook, including reels, posts, and stories.
Support mission storytelling and engagement by highlighting finds, drives, and thrift flips while tying purchases to Idaho youth programs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Visiting thrift stores to create fun and engaging content (Reels, posts, stories, etc.)
Highlighting cool finds, sales, donation drives, and thrift flips
Sharing the mission behind each purchase-how it helps fund youth programs across Idaho
Submitting content and a media release to be shared on IYR platforms
(Optional) Posting content on your personal social accounts and tagging Idaho Youth Ranch
Collaborating with our Marketing Team on occasional campaigns or challenges
Responding to comments, engaging with followers, and boosting awareness

Requirements

Someone creative and comfortable with social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook
A confident content creator with an eye for trends, thrift, and storytelling
Organized, reliable, and excited to represent Idaho Youth Ranch in a positive way
Comfortable using a smartphone or camera to create engaging media
Passionate about making a difference for youth in your community

Preferred

Bonus if you already have a public social media presence or experience sharing content about fashion, DIY, or community causes!
