Job Summary

Own the hands-on social content engine for a fashion-forward boutique, translating creative direction into daily posts, stories, and video that drive engagement, in-store traffic, and online sales.

  • Content Cadence & Publishing: Own the monthly calendar and weekly cadence across Reels, Stories, carousels, and stills.
  • Creative Execution Bridge: Coordinate with in-house photographer/Creative Director to ensure editorial shoots and campaigns align with brand; oversee video capture and shot lists for higher-production content.
  • Channel-to-Conversion: Maintain warm, confident Moss voice, respond to comments/DMs in-store and online, and link content to product pages to support DM-to-sale conversions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build
  • Shoot, edit, and publish all content — Reels, Stories, carousels, and static posts
  • Photograph new inventory for Stories daily while in the Austin store
  • Maintain Moss’s elevated, editorial brand aesthetic across all content
  • Partner with Moss’s in-house photographer and Creative Director on editorial shoots and campaign content
  • Coordinate on video capture, shot lists, and visual direction for higher-production content
  • Act as the bridge between creative vision and day-to-day social execution
  • Monitor and respond to all comments and DMs while in store — same-day response is the standard
  • Engage with followers, answer product questions, and drive DM-to-sale conversions
  • Maintain Moss’s brand voice in every interaction: warm, knowledgeable, and confident

Requirements

  • 2+ years of social media management experience in fashion, retail, or lifestyle
  • Strong eye for styling, composition, and brand-consistent photography
  • Comfortable shooting and editing Reels (CapCut, InShot, or similar)
  • Familiar with Instagram’s algorithm, shopping features, and scheduling tools (Later, Planoly, etc.)
  • Able to work independently, stay on top of a weekly content cadence, and self-manage without reminders
  • Genuine obsession with fashion, luxury brands, and contemporary style — this is not a nice-to-have

Preferred

  • experience in consignment, resale, or fashion retail
