Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the development and optimization of the Thermomix® Shopify storefront, ensuring a seamless, premium, and high-performing customer experience.
  • Build and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Develop backend functionality, integrations, and custom solutions to support evolving business needs (e.g., promotions, bundles, subscriptions, and field attribution).
  • Ensure site performance, scalability, and responsiveness across all devices, with a strong mobile-first approach.
  • Partner with Marketing to design, implement, and iterate A/B tests that improve CVR, AOV, and engagement metrics.
  • Analyze customer behavior using tools such as heatmaps, scroll tracking, and session recordings to identify friction points.
  • Continuously optimize site speed, UX/UI, and content placement to enhance the end-to-end customer journey.
  • Drive measurable improvements across key KPIs including conversion rate, average session time, scroll depth, and bounce rate.
  • Work closely with the Head of Customer & Digital Marketing to bring campaigns, promotions, and product launches to life on-site.
  • Build and optimize landing pages for campaigns, product storytelling, and seasonal initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Shopify development (Shopify Plus experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with Shopify APIs, custom app development, and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with CRO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, A/B testing tools).
  • Experience working in close partnership with marketing or growth teams.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce UX/UI best practices and customer journey optimization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
