Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and refine OpenUSD-based scenes, demos, and reference workflows that blend CAD, simulation, and data into clear visual experiences in Omniverse.
  • Translate engineering outputs into visual narratives through scene composition, materials, lighting, rendering, and interaction design for technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and technical marketing to prototype reusable content that supports demos, storytelling, enablement, and launches.
  • Develop workflows to bring multiple data types into OpenUSD including geometry, attributes, time-based data, fields, and volumetric/point representations while preserving fidelity and usability.
  • Create example scenes and narratives showing how NVIDIA workflows connect design, simulation, analysis, and visualization with clarity, reuse, and polish.
  • Partner with domain experts to shape scenes that are accurate, engaging, and easy to explore across live demos, booth experiences, and developer content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Digital Media, Technical Art, Design Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in technical marketing, technical art, visualization workflows, content pipelines, or OpenUSD-based 3D workflows.
  • Strong understanding of OpenUSD scene structure, composition, and workflow design across multiple data types.
  • Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, scene assembly, rendering, materials, lighting, and interactive visualization workflows.
  • Ability to translate complex engineering data into understandable visual stories using creative scene-building tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience building demos, docs, or technical enablement content for developers.

Preferred

  • Experience with CAD-to-USD, simulation-to-USD, or engineering-data-to-USD workflows for visualization and review.
  • Background as a technical artist, visualization specialist, or workflow developer bridging engineering and creative teams.
  • Familiarity with time-varying, volumetric, or scientific data in Kit-CAE or NVIDIA Omniverse workflows.
  • Experience building high-fidelity demos or interactive 3D experiences that communicate technical value.
