Job Description

Responsibilities

Primary focus on marketing strategy, campaign oversight, and digital presence
Develop and implement integrated marketing plans aligned with business goals that support rooms and food and beverage
Manage online presence with engaging content for branded hotel websites, vanity sites, company sites, and third party sites
Work with designated hotels and agencies to optimize websites with current SEO best practices and support property initiatives
Direct, manage or assist hotels and agencies in online/digital marketing including website development, paid social, and email listings
Utilize agency, brand, and Google Analytics reporting to drive content and marketing decisions
Recommend changes and new reporting based on tech, CMS, social changes and business needs
Lead messaging and concepting, oversee agency creative direction
Current SEO strategies and use of CMS to update hotel websites
Create and update visual assets

Requirements

A four year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a marketing position. Hospitality experience in the Austin market is required.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Excellent comprehension and literacy required to read manager's letters, help prepare contracts and proposals
Ability to negotiate effectively
Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Professional appearance and manner
Computer literacy, specifically MS Word for Windows
Communication at all levels; multi-tasking; time management
Occasional standing
