Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead the strategy and development of commercial innovation programs across amika’s product portfolio, including promotional and evergreen sets, holiday programs, sizing strategies, GWPs, merchandise, and brand collaborations. Own end-to-end strategy and execution of amika’s global holiday commercial program – one of the brand’s most critical revenue and brand-building moments – including assortment, pricing architecture, and channel strategy. Act as a key decision-maker in defining commercial strategies, including assortment architecture, pricing frameworks, and channel-specific program design. Develop channel-specific commercial strategies across key partners (Sephora, Ulta, DTC, Amazon, and international markets), tailoring programs to retailer and regional dynamics. Identify and develop commercial innovation opportunities grounded in consumer insights, market dynamics, and portfolio priorities to drive franchise growth and incremental revenue. Own concept development for commercial initiatives, translating brand and product priorities into compelling program concepts and narratives. Partner with Sales, Planning, and Finance to support business sizing, channel strategy, and commercial viability for proposed programs. Ensure commercial innovation initiatives reinforce key product launches, franchises, and broader portfolio priorities. Drive cross-functional development of commercial innovation initiatives from concept through launch, ensuring alignment across Sales, Trade Marketing, Operations, Brand Marketing, Creative, and Finance. Drive timelines, workflows, and deliverables for commercial programs, ensuring cross-functional teams remain aligned and initiatives are delivered successfully.

Requirements

6–8 years relevant experience in product marketing, brand management, or commercial strategy, with demonstrated experience owning cross-functional commercial or GTM initiatives; beauty experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience leading commercial programs such as sets, limited editions, collaborations, sizing strategies, or merchandising initiatives. A strong product and brand thinker who understands how commercial programs reinforce portfolio priorities and franchise growth. Confident influencing and aligning senior cross-functional stakeholders, with the ability to challenge thinking and drive decisions forward. Highly collaborative and excel at partnering across Product Development, Brand Marketing, Creative, Sales, Operations, Regulatory, and Finance. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. Analytical and comfortable interpreting commercial and market data to inform decision-making. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and proactively brings structure to ambiguity.
