Job Summary

Own the creator ecosystem across paid and organic partnerships, PR, and gifting for beauty launches, balancing influencer relationships with press opportunities to drive ROI and brand lift.

  • Lead end-to-end partnerships and craft talent briefs that translate campaign strategy into authentic creator content.
  • Own contract lifecycle, budget tracking, and ROI analysis to justify partner investments and scale the program.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead paid and organic creator partnership processes end-to-end: strategy, outreach, negotiations, talent and agent relationships, content briefing, and timeline management.
  • Leverage your personal, direct relationships with creators, makeup artists, agents, and talent managers — you’re the kind of person who can text a top-tier influencer and get a response. Cultivate and grow this network continuously.
  • Scout, recruit, and activate creators aligned with Haus Labs’ brand values of diversity, inclusion, creativity, and kindness; build authentic, long-term ambassador relationships with community growth and engagement top of mind.
  • Develop talent briefs that effectively articulate campaign strategy and inspire meaningful content and storytelling
  • Develop gifting strategies that reflect the consumer we’re reaching to increase EMV, build organic relationships and keep products top of mind in creator content.
  • Keep pulse on social media and beauty trends; communicate learnings back to the larger team in ways that can be quickly implemented.
  • Develop and execute integrated PR strategies for product launches, brand moments, and retailer campaigns that align with broader marketing objectives.
  • Liaise with and manage PR agency partners — ensuring the brand is building impactful editor relationships, securing press opportunities, and executing creative pitching and events.
  • Coordinate creation and review of press materials including press releases, educational collateral, and product mailers timed to the PR calendar.
  • Lead beauty awards submissions end-to-end, including product needs, deadlines, and coordination with PR partners.

Requirements

  • LA County-based: hybrid work environment, 3 days in office per week.
  • 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing and/or PR at a beauty brand, with direct experience owning both functions.
  • A self-identified “Makeup Junkie” with deep, genuine passion for beauty content, trends, and community.
  • A true connector: you have personal relationships with creators, agents, and editors. You’re not cold-emailing — you’re texting.
  • Contract-literate and deal-savvy: you have hands-on experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating influencer and talent contracts. You can spot a bad clause, push back on unfavorable terms, and close deals efficiently.
  • Budget ownership experience: you’ve managed and reconciled marketing budgets, tracked ROI, and reported spend to leadership.
  • Strong negotiation skills — able to secure the best terms for the brand while maintaining authentic, positive long-term creator and agency relationships.
  • Prior experience working on a founder brand or with founder teams, ideally.
  • Experience working with Sephora, ideally on a global level, ideally.
  • Expert ability to utilize influencer campaign management and analytics platforms to track and report data and ROI.
