This is a critical junior leadership role designed to empower future Account Directors at Collectively. This role focuses on our complex AOR client ecosystems at Collectively and balances supervising junior Client Partnership staff and cross-functional contributors while serving as the strategic lead across assigned businesses. This role is accountable for ensuring strategic excellence across proposals, campaigns, reporting, and long-term account planning while maintaining exceptional client partnership. This is a critical junior leadership role designed to empower future Account & Strategy Directors at Collectively. Program + Partnership Development (RFPs/Briefings) - Lead the approach to proposal development or response to briefs at Collectively–including delegation and supervision of project contributors. - Tasks include: - Digest and understand clients RFPs/ briefs - Lead strategic discovery to identify underlying business challenges, success metrics, audience opportunities, and long-term marketing objectives before developing creator recommendations. - Synthesize or draw on key trends and information from a variety of sources, including internal data, to inform conversations and RFP/Brief responses - Project manage responses cross-functionally start to finish: - Ideate RFP response with your account leader and/or executive leader including: ■ - Help to brief and guide creative concepts in partnership with the creative team - Develop and articulate influencer campaign and creator strategies (via outlines & slides) based on RFP/Brief goals and that incorporates best practices or agency benchmarks - Develop integrated creator marketing strategies that connect influencer marketing to broader business objectives across awareness, consideration, conversion, retention, and advocacy. - Curate a range of influencer campaign or services from Collectively - Present agency partnership / account management approaches - Conduct and synthesize relevant research & insights to shape strategy recommendations - Reviews, supervises or builds and recommends budgets against plans/RFPs ○ Works with Operations + Leadership to finalize scopes and staff plans ○ Ensures historic account or agency-wide performance data and current trends/best practices are considered - Supervises or manages specialized creative or analytical support for RFPs/Briefs as needed - Leads the timeline of the response and coordinates pitch strategy with key leadership stakeholders - Coordinates and hosts briefings, preps materials and background for meetings with clients or IATs (agendas, cross-functional questions, follow ups) - Leads client comms either directly or indirectly to support your Account Leader - Can independently prepare and present POVs/best practices for existing & emerging platforms: (i.e. podcasts, TikTok, etc.) - Own the strategic quality of proposals by ensuring recommendations are insight-led, data-informed, and aligned with the client's long-term business objectives. Program Delivery (Campaigns, Servicing) - Lead/Supervises the delivery team from IKO through Wrap to ensure the "strategic threads"and service expectations are maintained during account moments, including internal kick-offs, client kick-offs/discovery, status meetings, deliverable milestones, client presentations, and campaign reports. - Develops and communicates the strategic vision and goals of accounts in partnership with an Account Leader or Executive, and ensures strategic consistency across all workstreams, deliverables, and cross-functional teams. Pproviding guidance, individual contributions, and actioning feedback on core deliverables: - Collaborator Lists, Activation Plans, Creator Briefs, Campaign Reports (snapshot, ad-hoc, or full wraps) ensuring strategic consistency across all workstreams, deliverables, and cross-functional teams. - Guide Revenue Delivery team in responding to program and strategy shifts; helping to ensure projects aligned with client objectives and best practices, escalating challenges to leadership for input - Evangelize, educate and orient cross-functional contributors on your accounts in partnership with leadership across client updates, shifts, business context and broader challenges for team fluency - Continuously identify opportunities to evolve the client's creator marketing approach through experimentation, innovation, and emerging platform capabilities. - Proactively identify and land incremental opportunities that further clients' goals based on industry and content trends, performance insights and cultural moments. - For Trend Marketing scopes, support or consult in the identification and alignment of trend spotting or social conversations on TikTok or Instagram that might be appropriate for clients to engage/brief creators on - Represent Collectively day-to-day within the IAT–and tapping key contributors as needed throughout the lifecycle of a campaign Reporting & Analytics (Campaign Reports, Partnership Reports, QBRs) - Partner with the Analytics team to establish measurement frameworks, campaign hypotheses, and success metrics that connect creator performance to broader business outcomes. to develop hypotheses for content performance and ensure set-up and early measurement - Responsible for shaping the strategic narrative of program performance, translating campaign results into business insights, optimization opportunities, and long-term strategic recommendations. - Responsible for shaping the story & narrative of program performance during internal wrap development, assessing learnings to cultivate strategic insights for optimizations and evolutions, trends or learnings that drive more creator marketing programming through Collectively services - Develop strategic recommendations that influence future investment, testing priorities, integrated marketing planning, and account growth opportunities and shares them with the Account Director. - Identify account-wide performance trends across campaigns to develop quarterly and annual learning agendas that strengthen future creator marketing strategies. - Presents your account leader with opportunities to translate learnings into longer-term relationship or revenue growth - Firm understanding and strategic perspective of new reporting solutions and data sets to inform more effective programs/strategies (ex: Brand Lift Studies, Paid Media Performance, Affiliate), helping clients apply these strategically to proposals/programs as needed - Supervises the prep for and/or Leads/Hosts client reporting meetings, creating a warm and friendly environment and directing IRL meeting dynamics (hosting) as needed if applicable Relationship Development & Client Service Modeling - Conducts regular 1:1s or 2:1s (virtual or IRL) with clients either independently or with your leader to build trust, confidence and partnership in agency relationship - Acts as a trusted strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders by proactively bringing forward industry trends, business recommendations, and creator marketing thought leadership. - Bring or direct a present and proactive eye to the working collaboration and dynamic between client and agency, spotting areas that feel off or clueing into client frustrations actively; proactively addressing this cross-functionally with input from VP - Help uncover what's working, what's not–and supports plans of actions internally to evolve and service effectively, developing action plans to support your VP on service satisfaction and retention activities - Synthesizes and communicates feedback between client and broader Collectively contributors and stakeholders - Maintain a deep understanding of the client's business, competitive landscape, category trends, consumer behavior, creator ecosystem, and emerging platform opportunities, applying those insights proactively across account planning. - Maintain up-to-date research on your brand accounts, including relevant trends, industries, competitors, and products, using a variety of research tools and social media consumption (platform content, social listening, press/journalism, community surveys, etc) - Leverage findings in conversations to connect broader opportunities for brand/agency revenue

Requirements

  • - At least 6 years direct experience in influencer marketing at an agency, with at least 2 years overseeing junior tasks/output - 3 or more years of experience working on influencer strategies for a B2B client - Both left and right brain thinker, equally comfortable with data and creative thinking - Independent, critical thinker; comfortable putting ideas backed by rationale and V1s out there, then getting steers from colleagues and clients to refine the work - Exceptional client servicing skills and instincts; loves to develop strong relationships with clients - Strong organization skills with attention to detail and excellent follow-through - Great communication skills—both internally and externally, written and verbal - Ability to work efficiently across a variety of tasks and manage time appropriately for projects - Thrives in the "undefined" and enjoys fast-changing, fast-paced working environments - Collaborative working style with positive attitude and enthusiasm for making great work happen! - Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into integrated creator marketing strategies. - Experience leading strategic planning across complex, multi-workstream client businesses. - Strong fluency in performance marketing, creator measurement, paid media, affiliate marketing, and marketing analytics. - Experience coaching and elevating strategic talent through mentorship and feedback. - Ability to influence senior client stakeholders through strategic thinking, data, and executive communication.
