Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute annual sales, marketing, and promotional strategies for core accounts.
  • Monitor actual results vs. plan throughout the year, adjusting when appropriate. Conduct business reviews of accounts and present them as appropriate to management.
  • Influence the multi-channel teams to research, develop, and execute the ecommerce strategy that compliments the B&M and brand strategies, ensuring consumer centric growth.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and execute promotions, media, and content strategies.
  • Lead comprehensive analysis of business growth opportunities, potential avenues for share growth, and evaluate competitor and market dynamics / trends as input to strategic plans.
  • Develop influential relationships and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in adjacent business units and shared services functions (product, channel, finance, sales, information technology, etc.).
  • Coordinate with supply chain to manage forecasting, in stock and fill rates.
  • Support and maintain relationships with customers. Collaborate to identify opportunities and build eCommerce capabilities for the strategically identified product categories.
  • Create and communicate a monthly performance and key metric scorecards for respective accounts. Provide POS, Out of Stock, profitability and other pertinent metrics on a weekly cadence to the organization.
  • Evangelize eCommerce strategies, seeking internal and external partners to deliver market share growth. Monitor digital shelf performance (traffic, conversion, sales) and translate data into action plans.
  • Partner with the Home Depot Retail Account Managers to align online and in-store assortment strategy.
  • Drive net-new SKU activation on HomeDepot.com, including online-only and Pro-exclusive offerings.
  • Lead the multi-pack and virtual bundle strategy, coordinating setup and execution with the Digital Shelf & Syndication Specialist and internal teams.
  • Serve as an informed business partner to the Digital Media team, bringing a channel-specific POV on which products, categories, and timeframes should be prioritized for investment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of eCommerce experience.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to navigate and manage competing priorities.
  • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong business and financial acumen; proven ability to manage and measure work.
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of online/digital channels to include online pricing and promotions, digital marketing, and eCommerce fulfillment.
  • Familiarity with the hardware, home improvement, or building products category a strong plus.
