Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Global Channel Strategy & Partnership
  • Serve as strategic marketing partner to the Global Channel Sales Leader to align priorities, sales plays, and growth initiatives.
  • Develop and operationalize a global channel marketing programs strategy aligned to Proofpoint’s GTM priorities.
  • Influence regional field marketing plans to ensure strong channel integration and alignment with global objectives.
  • Oversee global channel marketing budget, ensuring disciplined investment aligned to strategic priorities and measurable ROI.
  • Partner Programs & Sales Acceleration
  • Design and own the annual global partner SPIF framework aligned to priority sales plays and revenue targets.
  • Partner with Sales, Channel Operations, and Field Marketing to ensure global programs are localized and activated effectively.
  • Help design scalable “campaigns-in-a-box” for the reseller community, enabling consistent global execution of corporate initiatives.
  • Partner Community & Engagement
  • Own global partner community strategy and execution, including Partner Councils and Advisory Boards.
  • Lead planning and orchestration of Proofpoint-led partner community events in partnership with Channel and Field teams.
  • Develop structured engagement models to strengthen executive relationships within top-tier partners.
  • Partner Experience & Communications
  • Own the global partner communication strategy and calendar, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across theaters.
  • Oversee strategy, content governance, and evolution of the global partner portal to enhance partner enablement and engagement.
  • Ensure strong interlock with corporate marketing (brand, campaigns, demand generation) to effectively amplify global initiatives through the channel.
  • Measurement & Operational Excellence
  • Establish clear KPIs to measure partner engagement, program effectiveness, and pipeline contribution.
  • Leverage insights and performance data to continuously optimize investment and program design steadier across teams globally.

Requirements

  • 12–15+ years of B2B marketing experience, including significant experience in channel or partner marketing programs.
  • Proven track record designing scalable global partner programs that drive measurable sales impact.
  • Strong experience partnering closely with global channel sales leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct ownership of regional execution.
  • Experience managing global budgets and driving operational rigor.
  • Deep understanding of global reseller ecosystems; cybersecurity or SaaS experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience collaborating on joint marketing initiatives with major ecosystem partners such as Microsoft or AWS is a plus.
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
