Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic digital publicity and social editorial plans aligned with campaign goals, audience insights, and cultural moments.
  • Identify proactive partnership opportunities with media outlets, talent, creators, and community platforms.
  • Develop long-term partner strategies and negotiate broader deal opportunities beyond one-off placements.
  • Pitch and secure digital coverage, content placements, and branded partnership opportunities across key outlets.
  • Build, source, and grow relationships with niche audience communities, fan ecosystems, and tastemaker pages.
  • Identify culturally relevant spaces such as cinephile communities, BookTok, fandom pages, and emerging interest-based platforms.
  • Serve as a client-facing lead, clearly communicating plans, priorities, updates, and results.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in digital publicity, strategic partnerships, influencer marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the influencer, publicity, and digital media landscape.
  • Proven success pitching, negotiating, and placing content and partnerships across media and digital platforms.
  • Existing relationships with outlets such as Teen Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Betches, and similar culture-driving publishers.
  • Strong strategic thinking with experience developing actionable publicity and partnership plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, build, and activate niche audience groups and culturally specific communities.
  • Understanding of how to source and engage tastemaker pages, fan communities, and interest-based ecosystems.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, with confidence in a client-facing role
