Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define measurement strategies and key performance indicators for marketing campaigns
  • Analyze digital marketing performance, including acquisition, reactivation, and retention metrics
  • Develop and execute campaign post-mortems to evaluate effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities
  • Build and maintain attribution models to connect marketing inputs (spend, impressions) to downstream outcomes (engagement, revenue)
  • Design and analyze marketing funnels to uncover performance gaps and growth opportunities
  • Create audience segmentation frameworks to support targeted marketing efforts
  • Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to build scalable data pipelines, reporting solutions, and automation
  • Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes for large-scale data systems
  • Develop and optimize database structures and queries for efficient data access and analysis
  • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, influencing marketing and investment decisions
  • Ensure data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve data quality and reporting processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
  • 8–10 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
  • Strong experience in marketing analytics, particularly in digital or product-focused environments
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python)
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and database technologies
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline development
  • Experience building and interpreting attribution models and marketing performance metrics
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights

Preferred

  • Experience working in gaming, entertainment, or digital product ecosystems
  • Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms
  • Experience partnering closely with marketing and finance teams on budget planning and ROI/ROAS optimization
  • Knowledge of experimentation frameworks (A/B testing) and causal inference methods
  • Experience building scalable reporting dashboards and automation solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead stakeholder conversations and drive alignment across teams
