Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team delivering communications campaigns for the APX business unit to win new plant business in North America for Westinghouse's portfolio of advanced nuclear reactors
• Understand local industry organizations and events, identifying opportunities for participation to demonstrate thought leadership and enhance our brand
• Collaborate with teams – including marketing, commercial, sales, operations and legal – to produce materials that demonstrate the benefits of our technologies to our customers
• Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the Global Communications team to ensure delivery of materials
• Support internal communications to ensure employee engagement and understanding of company values
• Ensure brand consistency across all local communication channels

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in communications, marketing communications, journalism
• 5+ years of experience in a corporate setting
• Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: corporate communications, public relations, media relations, government relations, brand marketing, or a related field
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to communicate/collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge and application of AP writing style

Preferred

• Preferably experience in an industrial environment
• Experience in corporate communications, brand management, social media engagement
