Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage client content development, including congress content, medical education resources, drafting copy, managing reviews, and project management
  • Serve as the day-to-day client contact for content development with the oversight of the client experience team
  • Coordinate among interdisciplinary team of scientific communications, creative, digital, media and production specialists, and ensure all activities you are leading are moving forward so deadlines are met
  • Support planning and material development around client announcements for regulatory milestones and medical meetings
  • Manage client status reports and action grids, including materials trackers, and analytics trackers
  • Identify training and development needs of junior staff and provide opportunities that enable staff members to reach their full potential
  • Assist in financial management for clients, including development of invoices and activity reports

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in public relations at an agency or corporate in-house (healthcare experience required)
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously.
  • Be a self-starter who works well within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
  • BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, or in a related field

Preferred

  • agency background in healthcare communications with experience working on pharmaceutical products and/or disease education programs
  • knowledge of the media landscape and considerations in this space
  • Event planning and congress experience
  • Interest in the full remit of healthcare communications including digital, earned media, data and regulatory milestones, congress support, and unbranded disease awareness programming
