Job Summary

Own the data-curation and translation workflow for OEM repair information, turning complex service docs into standardized, publish-ready data for collision estimates.

  • Content Lifecycle: Research, translate, and validate repair procedures across EPCs and lookup tools to feed the publishing system.
  • Quality & Compliance: Maintain accuracy and consistency to support reliable computer estimation and cross-team collaboration.
  • Tooling & Interfaces: Use EPCs and various lookup interfaces to surface correct procedures and keep data aligned with established standards.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Research: Research and compile automotive repair information from OEM service documentation
  • Translation: Translate technical automotive information into standardized formats
  • Data Maintenance: Produce and maintain accurate collision repair data within our electronic publishing system
  • Data Entry: Enter information according to established procedures for consistent application in computer estimation systems
  • EPC & Lookup: Utilize Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC), various parts lookup interfaces, and other resources to locate OEM repair procedures
  • Quality: Ensure technical accuracy and adherence to quality standards
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and operating systems
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to understand technical documentation and translate it for practical application
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet productivity standards
  • Effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Preferred
  • Automotive background or technical knowledge of vehicle systems and parts
  • Thorough understanding of different vehicle systems and component relationships
  • Experience using Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC) and parts lookup interfaces
  • Experience with electronic publishing systems or database management
  • Background in automotive repair, service writing, or parts department roles
