Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clear view of active projects, deadlines, priorities, and responsibilities across the company.
  • Convert leadership discussions and company directives into documented tasks with clear owners and deadlines.
  • Make sure every task has enough information for the assigned person to complete it properly.
  • Break larger projects into manageable tasks and subtasks.
  • Identify dependencies between departments and team members.
  • Prevent assignments from being forgotten after meetings or conversations.
  • Make sure completed tasks are actually reviewed and verified rather than simply marked complete.
  • Check in with team members multiple times throughout the workday.
  • Confirm what each person is working on and whether the work is progressing as expected.
  • Compare actual progress against what the team member previously committed to completing.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of professional project, program, or operations-management experience.
  • At least two years of meaningful Google Ads experience.
  • Experience managing multiple departments, team members, or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of project-management systems, task ownership, deadlines, dependencies, and prioritization.
  • Experience holding employees or contractors accountable for deliverables.
  • Experience addressing missed deadlines and underperformance directly.
  • Strong SOP creation and process-documentation experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to ask detailed follow-up questions and identify missing information.
  • The ability to distinguish between a valid obstacle and an excuse.
